Deivathin Kural Series - 10

DEIVATHIN KURAL 10 OF 20 JUNE 2006.
Om Namah Sivaya.
1. Till there is human life, there is and will be desire, sadness, fear and hatered. Moksham is, to be released from this. It is only by the experience of ' Advaita Anubhava ', that one can be relieved of attachments, pain, sadness, and hatered and Bliss attained. When there is something other than ourselves, then only it is possible to love or fear it. When there is nothing other than ourselves, when the sight is so sanctified that whatever You see is Brhmam, or when Adwaita knowledge becomes a permanent experience, then where is the scope for desire or fear or anger or sadness ? Now we fear the snake or scorpion. If we were the snake or scorpion, will there be this fear ? When you feel that everything is your self, ( Y O U R S E L F ), you are ever blissful. That is Moksha. It is not that it has to happen only after death, some where else. We can be in Moksha Here and Now, with this Adwaita Gnanam.
2. ' How can this be ? We are seeing so many things, so much variety?', you may feel. Either our experience should be real or what Vedantam says and what is Gnani's Anubhava, should be real. What is real or true should impart changeless-peace and bliss. This peace and bliss is lacking in our life, whereas, the Gnanis who are experiencing Adwaita, seem to be experiencing that Bliss. We see so many things in dreams. When we wake up, what happens to all those things? Is not the dreamer the only one left behind. This universe is also a dream. When we wake up from this dream, (ie., when waking in to the state of gnanam, less maya,) what is left is Brhmam only.
3. Though the seen world is multivarious, the fact that only one thing has become many, is clearly and comprehensively established by the modern science! Some sixty or seventy years back, science used to hold that, all the things in the world are made up of some 92 organic and inorganic elements. The belief then was that they are all different to each other. The knowledge of the Atom has proved that all these elements are not totally different and that they are made of the same energy. Modern Science also holds that, Matter and Energy are not different but interchangeable. The modern science also points towards Adwaita philosophy only. The truth of the matter is that, Scientists have come very close to the Adwaita Philosophy as enunciated by Adi Sankara.
4. When it is said in Adwaita, that the world is unreal and part of Maya, the meaning is that; the world is not real in the ultimate analysis. The world is true or real in a transactional sense. But it's being is based on Brhmam only. This statement is not only as part of Adwaita philosophy, but so held by the Modern Scientists also. They say that there is nothing absolute in this Universe. Time is not absolute. Space is not absolute. They hold that everything is only, ' R E L A T I V E & not A B S O L U T E ', except the absolute.
5. It is a very sad fact indeed, that having found out that Energy and Matter are interchangeable, these very Scientists using the same knowledge, invented the Atom Bomb!! The reason for this aberration is that, Adwaita philosophy, as understood by scientists, remained at the Mind level and was directed only towards the outer world and not the inner being. The Adwaita of science, instead of remaining at the mind level and instead of being directed only towards the outer world; should probe the inner world too, beyond mind level and percolate down to the common man. Then, the same Science which was responsible for the creation of Atom Bomb, and thereby for the distruction of Human kind; can pave the ay for understanding that the enire Humanity is one only.
Sambhomahadeva.
